After being appointed as Deputy for P one of the first tasks we undertake is to open a bank account along with any other necessary accounts. Doing this through Money Carer, we are given a quality, easy to use service which in turn gives us the ability to act in the best interests of P as soon as possible ensuring we are meeting their immediate needs. We have our own account manager who looks after us from start to finish ensuring the correct number of accounts are opened, supplying us with the correct account log in information and also bank cards for these accounts. In any issues arise, Money Carer act swiftly to resolve these with their excellent customer service.

Care Fees Finally Settled
We have benefitted greatly from Money Carer’s new bank transfer service. For some time a resident in our care home was having issues accessing their savings to settle our fees. This is where Money Carer stepped in and within a short space of time had access to funds and was able to make regular bank transfers directly in to our account in order to settle all fees easily and hassle free.

Using Money Carer’s Corporate Appointeeship service pending our Deputyship appointment has been invaluable in many ways. As Appointee, Money Carer applies for and receives P’s benefits, pays for care, accommodation, household and routine bills, sets up a managed bank account and carer’s pre-paid card, budgets and generally supports P throughout, liaising with us as the to be appointed deputy so that we can hit the ground running on our appointment, without any delays. This unique approach provides P with a seamless and cost effective service. There is no duplication of fees – the appointee charges their not-for-profit fees, which cease on our appointment when we take over.
